Further generalization of the delay-system transformation

YAWVI A. FIAGBEDZI

Department of Mathematical Sciences, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Dhahran, 31261, Saudi Arabia

A feedback stabilization theory for delay systems has been given in earlier work. The theory is based on a transformation for reducing a delay system to an ordinary differential equation, assuming that the delay system has simple unstable eigenvalues. In view of the applicability of the transformation to a large class of delay systems, including quasilinear systems, the present work seeks to enhance its scope by removing the assumption of simplicity of the unstable eigenvalues.
