Some robustness measures for a class of discrete-time systems

A class of discrete-time systems with nominally asymptotically-stable linear part and subject to nonlinear time-varying and state-delayed perturbations is considered. Upper bounds on the delayed perturbations are derived so that the nonlinear discrete-time system remains uniformly asymptotically stable. The choice of Lyapunov matrices as well as the effect of linear state transformation are examined, and it is shown that improvement of the perturbation bounds is possible in some particular cases.
