Some Results on Infinite-Dimensional Realization Theory

JlNGBO WU

Department of Computer and System Sciences, Nankai University Tianjin, China

This paper deals with the linear continuous-time systems that can be realized on Hilbert spaces. The spectral minimality of controllable and exactly observable systems is considered. The existence and uniqueness problems of normal symmetric realizations are discussed. The existence problem of realization where the state transition operator generates a strongly continuous group is also discussed.
