Mathematical Control Theory of Singular Systems

Singular syustems of the form Ex = f(x, u, t) are considered, tractability is defined, a sufficient condition for tractability is derived, the maximum principle for the optimal control peoblem is obtained, the properties of the Hamilton function and the forms of the functional are discussed, and two examples are given.
