   Abstract

This paper is concerned with an optimal control problem of the sterilization of prepackaged food. The Dubovitskii–Milyutin approach is adopted in investigation of the Pontryagin's maximum principle of the system. The necessary condition is presented for the problem with fixed final horizon and phase constraints.

Keywords: sterilization of prepackaged food; optimal control; maximum principle; necessary condition.
